Maira Garcia is a 25-year-old media professional with a bad running addiction. When she isn’t training with Gilbert’s Gazelles, the running group coached by pro-marathoner Gilbert Tuhabonye, she’s plugging the hours away at the Austin American-Statesman as a content producer. She’s a proud Bobcat, having graduated from Texas State University-San Marcos with a master of arts and bachelor’s degree in 2009 and 2007, respectively.
